talkstowolvesIn the eventuality of gift-giving occasions, I am preparing this list for any and all comers! I certainly don't expect anything, but I always find it nice to know what my friends would like (or need) so that I have the option of getting something for them when the cash flows. I figured I would extend all of you the same courtesy.
Below the cut, please find a variety of things that would be useful to me or that I would find delight-inspiring:
Bits and Bobs:
Amazon.com Wishlist: My wishlist over at Amazon.com lists a number of books that would serve me well in my studies (both professional and pet). This list also includes subscriptions to magazines, particularly Locus, which would be very exciting indeed.
Speaking of subscriptions, I'd really love one to Mythlore as well.
Paid Time on Livejournal is always useful, while extra userpics would just be fun.
I'm also desperately seeking the funds to commission a few artists, both for illustrations for my website and for a few writing projects. If you're an artist and interested in helping or just someone with extra funds and a penchant for patronage, e-mail me at my livejournal address!
I would love beading materials: BEADS, especially! I want strange objects, shells, old beads, semi-precious stones, bits of watches, discarded buttons, whatever you have and would send along that could be used in the creation of jewelry. Feed the Mad Magpie Jeweler!
Membership:
I could stand to become a member of the Mythopoeic Society (with Mythprint).
Donations:
I also like sending money to organizations that I support, and wouldn't mind others doing the same for me. Some of those organizations are:

The Endicott Studio (I do so love the "Green Woman and Child" print)
